why, why not? Im thinking of buying mma gloves, and the grappling gloves seem to be really cheap, but im wondering why they are so cheap? is it because they should not be worn to fight or spar? please let me know asap. thank you. and if so which gloves should i buy? im thinking of buying these http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180430665986&rvr_id=&crlp=1_263602_263622&UA=WXS%3F&GUID=11c8fd1c1240a0b58fc65376ff8d8f9b&itemid=180430665986&ff4=263602_263622#ht_679wt_732 are these good for everything? like fighting, sparring, grappling, etc?

those are most definitely not sparring gloves lol. they are 4.5 oz which means they will just barley protect your knuckles from getting busted up. in my dojo we spar with at least 6-7 oz grappling gloves. sparring is made to learn from not get K.Oed from though it does happen. so you should be using 16 oz in boxing gloves, 14 at the least or 6-7 oz grappling gloves.

4 oz gloves are what the UFC uses in their fights some amateur level fights use higher oz's but professionally 4 oz is the norm.

as far as grappling ya those are fine.

(dont spar/fight/grapple unless ur trained by a pro.)
