I am 13 and do aggressive skating. (If you have no clue what this is, look it up.) All of my friends enjoy skating during the night as that is the coolest time of the 24 hour period. It is also the most fun.

The thing is my parents won't let me stay out after dark.. This honestly pisses me off.. I have had thoughts of just sneaking out. I rarely get to hang with my friends due to this.

Also, it is currently spring break, and this is SSOOOO annoying.. I'd rather your answers not be biased and be on an equal scale.

I have great grades and don't get in much trouble outside of school at all. I have been home by their regulated times and stuff, but still won't let me stay out past dark.

What could i do to let them let me stay out? and do you think they are being strict?

I think your parents are genuinely concerned about you. I know from your point of view this really sucks right now, but be that as it may, you are still 13, not 18. I think you and your mom or dad should go to the skate park at night with yer friends and so this way your parents can see what you are doing, the kids you hang out with, they may be more secure this way with you going out at night. Also, build trust with them, if they say you can go and be back at 9:30, be back at 9:30. This shows you are responsible and also care about how they feel too. They love you after all.
