What’s the difference between religion and superstition? There’s no difference! They are one and the same. Religion is just more organized than superstition; you could say that religion is merely superstition taken to the extreme, right? I mean, a person who thinks that not stepping on cracks in the pavement will bring them good luck compared to a person praying to an invisible deity they call Jesus to save them from a fantasy realm they call hell, is exactly the same behavior, isn’t it? And it all comes down to an inherent weakness that is either the product of nature or nurture that exists within the human species, right?
