actually happy? they get to travel in first class, have amazin cars, but are they happy
 
Happiness cannot be associated to rich people or poor people. The perception that rich people arent happy is mostly attiributed to the attention they get..i'm sure they are zillions of poor people who are equally unhappy...The crucial factor here is how you adapt to various situations in life and how you handle the problems of life...
 
Take a look at the news lately: You have to remember that even though you think someone is wealthy, or that you might see them in an "amazing" car, often times they are not wealthy at all, and in serious debt. Look at what's happened over the past few months...people wanted others to think they could afford large homes, fancy cars, designer clothes...and now many of them are in serious financial trouble.

I think happiness does not stem from money and that both the truly wealthy and those who make lower or moderate incomes are equally happy. I also think that those who are financially responsible are the ones who don't lose sleep at night worrying about money and that would also contribute to happiness.
 
There is a few. But there is a huge difference between wealthy and high class. Many wealthy people spend wisely and are real people while those that are high class and snobby wouldn't have a clue how to be friendly to people less fortunate and think only of themselves. Many wealthy people have worked very hard to get where they are and continue to work. Hopefully neither think that materialism will bring them happiness and peace of mind in which case none of them would be truly happy!
