Are sandals, considered to be too much in certain religions? Like Islam.

the women don't don'? wear anything that doesn't cover the face, hair, and body. Are sandals an outrage as well, with that line of thinking? Feet can be used very sensually, so what is different if a foot is bare or a shoulder? Or a knee for that matter? Please explain this contradiction to me, so I am not walking in ignorance.
