You know, religions that demand the upholding of certain values, but are realistic and not filled with made up fiction?

Certainly it is hinduism .because the things which are told as myth and legends in hinduism is a real incidence that happened in the world .god is beyond history and everything.you should not expect evidence in realising the god.

That would be the difference between a "religion" and a "belief system."

Feel free to write your own. "Evolution is real, there is no God, oh and also, be nice to each other." Sounds great to me.

Hi from France ?

Religions, gods and holy books ARE tales !! ... They are as false as Santa Claus so ....

Have a nice day,

Cat.

Yes Christianity, it's not a bunch of rules and made up fairy tales. It's really a relationship with the living God.
Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

If you don't want magic of fairy tales, then why have a religion at all? Religion is a way for people to explain the unknown.

Myths, metaphors and allegories are pretty much standard issue in most religions.

If there's nothing out there... then who invented values? Where did values and morality come from?

I can understand how something like an amoeba or a trilobite could evolve, scientifically speaking, but how abstract principles, such as right and wrong, can exist if there's no higher force/power seems illogical.
