i have two very nice verizon wireless cell phones but dont want them anymore. Can they be used by other people, like AT & T phones? I'd like to sell them if possible.
hi, as far as i know the only phone from verizon that can be used with AT&T or T-mobile is the Blackberry storm, but yes, you can sell them to someone who has verizon and they can use them with no problem...
Verizon Wireless handsets are re-usable however they are only re-usable with other Verizon accounts. A phone can be activated on another Verizon account by calling Verizon customer service and providing an ESN or MEID serial number found on the back of the device once the battery is removed. A phone can also be activated by calling *228 from the phone needing to be activated and selecting the option to activate phone. The activation process takes about 3 minutes.
* Before you sell your devices please make sure they are 911 gps equipped and are not reported as lost or stolen otherwise phones will not be activated successfully.
If the phone is unlocked and triband.
If you want to unlock it, Just simply call Verizon and tell them that you are flying over-seas and need your phone unlocked. They will give you a code to enter.
