Are you allowed to have a sense of humour if you are a christian ?

it's all so serious isnt it ? not much jokes in the bible or lively banter. just wondering if God enjoys a giggle and a laugh ? and does he mind if people do too ?

its a very morbid story and churches are very depressing places to go visit ....
just wondering if its okay to have a laugh every once in a while ?
laughter is good for the soul you know

I'm always cutting up and laughing. What wrong with having a sense of humor. there's a lot of funny stuff going on in the world today. Ya just have to laugh at most of it.

My coworkers would tell you that I am far from the serious type.

I am definately serious about my faith, but I will also laugh and joke with the best of them.

I will not do something that hurts my God, my faith, my friends or me.

What is this 'sense' of humor anyway? How did it get there?
What possible evolutionary purpose could it serve?
For those who believe that. Allowed to have? Well,
I certainly know really a lot of atheists who answer my
questions with zero sense of humor. I would say that
everyone (was going to say almost, but had to be honest)
I meet on the street has zero sense of humor unless I start
it ,and even then, wet balloons just litter the ground.
I think the whole situation with the judgment is too serious
for laugher, but later...whole new universe...lots of fun.
For now, we humans sometimes laugh, if we have that sense.
Knock some sense into that person...a sense of humor.
