One of the best ways to prepare yourself is to love one another as God loves us! Living out the commandment of Christ our Lord: Love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength, and love your neighbour as your love yourself!

No, I don't believe this is any kind of "truth." What is true is that Christianity controls its followers through fear and intimidation (sin, hell, eternal damnation). There is no love about it, only the fear of god and what's going to happen in an afterlife of which there is absolutely NO proof whatsoever.

God loves us? how do we know god loves us?
I mean think of Hiti earthquake , flooding in pakistan, Chile Earthquake, Guatemala Sinkhole, Russia Wildfires, Nashville Floods, China Earthquake? is this how he express his love? :) lool

Here is the thing: I stopped going to church in 3rd grade, I am now in 8th grade.
I stopped believing in God a while ago
I am one of those people who need proof to back things up
I remember I was at church once and I asked how was God just there and they didn't have a direct answer
So it is hard for me to believe in him
I really want to be "saved"
but i need to have proof
do you have any?
I didn't think so
