I ask this because some people on this board give overly general descriptions of their works in progress and then demand feedback; or they attach some trite little warning about not stealing their ideas, as if their ideas are worth stealing...
Counter-balance this trend with something I once heard from a writer buddy: that if someone ever used her work in any way, she would be totally flattered and happy.
Given that imagination has no limits and that ideas are countless, are you, as writers, worried that someone will take your story ideas and use them as their own? Or do you give them out freely?
