They both claim that we shouldn't have any satire or humor pointed at Islam. They want us to follow there Islamic rules. Just look at what moderate mulsims say. They always say we aren't allowed to make fun of there religious beliefs. I have to say sorry freedom of speech is real and if I find the idea of religion idiotic Islam is not immune to my ridicule
@ayma you don't see jesus freaks go out in the streets when south park make fun of jesus but you see muslims out raged when south park makes fun of islam. Its totally non sense. They make a bigger deal out of it then anyone else. If someone find fun of the fact I don't believe religion to be a good thing let them but I think i can make fun of there fairy tale better.
 
Yes, all think that a non-believer is an "enemy of god" and therefore subject to murder on sight.
 
I have never met a Muslim in the United States who wants to control what I think, say, or do; nor have I ever met a Muslim in the US who insists that I follow their rules. I would go so far to say that Muslims in the US tend *not* to be like Muslims in the rest of the world specifically *because* we have zero tolerance for violence and compulsion in the name of religion. People come to the US to have a better life than the one they left behind, so it is inconceivable that any Muslim would come to the US to remold the US in the image of the very thing they left behind to begin with. Thinking about it in terms of game theory, it is irrational. There is no pay off that way.

EDIT--The blow-up over South Park is the exception, not the rule in the US. People make fun of ALL religions in the US. That's part of our culture. We have free inquiry, and with free inquiry comes free ridicule. Most people are okay with it. Some are not. As a counter-example, I seem to recall a fundamentalist Christian ****-storm over "The Last Temptation of Christ. I also recall a fundamentalist Christian ****-storm over Harry Potter. Then there was the Christian ****-storm over "The Da Vinci Code." Then there was the Christian ****-storm over the Terry Schiavo case in Florida. Oh, yes...the list goes on and on. There are whackjobs in every group, not just Muslims. The whackjobs are the exception, not the rule. They are just easier to remember specifically *because* they are far enough outside the norm to be newsmaking events.

Find something very near and dear to you and have people laugh and make fun of it. Then you will understand why they don't want you to insult Islam.

There is also this old thing called respect where you don't try to offend people for fun. Respect is dying faster than any belief in this world. Sad thing too.
 
Hitler was a christian and so was Timothy McVeigh. Does that mean all Christians are evil too?
 
The Five Pillars of Islam
These five tenets compose the framework of obedience for Muslims:
1. The testimony of faith (shahada): “la ilaha illa allah. Muhammad rasul Allah.” This means, “There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.” A person can convert to Islam by stating this creed. The shahada shows that a Muslim believes in Allah alone as deity and believes that Muhammad reveals Allah.
2. Prayer (salat): Five ritual prayers must be performed every day.
3. Giving (zakat): This almsgiving is a certain percentage given once a year.
4. Fasting (sawm): Muslims fast during Ramadan in the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. They must not eat or drink from dawn until sunset.
5. Pilgrimage (hajj): If physically and financially possible, a Muslim must make the pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia at least once. The hajj is performed in the twelfth month of the Islamic calendar.

A Muslim's entrance into paradise hinges on obedience to these Five Pillars. Still, Allah may reject them. Even Muhammad was not sure whether Allah would admit him to paradise (Surah 46:9; Hadith 5.266).

They're exactly the same. One may wear a shirt and tie, and the other may wear a kefiya, but they both want to control what you think, say, or do. Muslims in the US of either type insist that you follow their rules. Muslims in the US are exactly like Muslims in the rest of the world specifically because they tolerate violence and compulsion in the name of religion. Muslims come to the US to remold the US in the image of the ummah, the world community of Muslims. Just look at the Muslim father (& son) in Toronto who murdered even his own daughters, plus his ex-wife because they wanted to go to the public library. He was a typical "normal" Muslim.

How about I clarify some problems before you convert to Islam. Also, not knowing Arabic will destroy you if you convert IMO.
1. What do Muslims do to Apostates?

2. Are Muslims permitted to lie to infidels in order to convert them? (Al-taqiyya: look this up)

3. Menstruation is bad? (probably the most stupid thing I have ever come across)

4. Women are property of men?
Answer: Qur'an 2:223 (sounds like rape is lawful in Islam)

5. Heaven for Muslims, is it equal for both genders? (look up 'houri' in Wikipedia)

8. Muhammad was a pedophile and a rapist?
Answer: look at the stories of 'Aisha' the 6 year old who married Muhammad and became De-virginised at 9 years old. 'Zaynab bint Jahsh' the wife of Muhammad's adopted Black son; former slave forced to divorce her just so Muhammad can marry her. 'safiya' a jewish girl whose father, husband and brother was murdered by Muhammad and forced to be Muhammad's wife. I have not found any quotes yet but I will give them to you. I have to go to school now.

yes because they believe in a the weakness of submission which nothing could be more of a lie considering what they so hypocritical preach it's just based on contradictory stupidity of there naivete.
 
if "freedom of speeech" allow you to say to the others (many of others) bad things, so
wait for answer base on "freedom of reaction" !
