Ares music program uninstall issue?

I had install ares on my laptop and didnt do the shortcut for the desktop. It wasnt working properly so I tried to uninstall it off the computer so i tried ro reinstall it back on there and now it wont let me install it. I guess because it is still showing up on the start menu. I went to see if it was still in the control panel but it wasnt there. How can I get it off the start menu and uninstall it completed so I can reinstall it.

First, make sure you uninstalled it properly. Go to add/remove programs and remove the one you wanted to uninstall, then try reinstalling. Also, if it doesn't automatically make a shortcut for the desktop, you can go to its icon on the start menu, right-click, and select "create shortcut". A copy of the icon will appear. Drag the copy to the desktop, and you will have a shortcut.
