I am a "religious person." That is I'm an evangelical Christian and I can give you a few good responses to this silliness. (This isn't the gospel. This is some postmodern christian telling you what his/her church preaches, which isn't the gospel. I'm guessing a kid that doesn't know any better, but, hey, I've heard this junk from adults, too.)
a. God created me? Funny. I thought he created Adam, and then Eve, and then the rest of us were conceived from parents.
b. How do you know he's called you yet? What is it to be called?
c. Free will? Where is that in the Bible?
d. Your God is so weak, he won't force anything or anyone? Why bother with him then?
and, the whopper -
e. If God saves without force - explain Jonah, John 3:16-21, John 6:35-40, and Romans 8:28 through Romans 9?
One catch for you. To pull off that last one, you'll have to read those references. (Not a big catch - Jonah's a short book, and the rest are a chapter or less of a couple other books.)
Now, why would I give you your ammo? Twofold - I too get tired with the crap posturing as Gospel, and, hey, I know a few people, who came to the Lord out of anger. They were well armed with the Bible and it kept working, until they ran into Christians who knew their stuff. Or - it keeps Christians sharp to know their stuff as much as it keeps you sharp to counter the fake stuff.
