Atheists, is atheism a religion?

To make fun of morons like you that think the Bible is anything other than the best selling fairy tale book in the history of mankind.

I'm here because people like you post questions about atheism.

But generally, this forum is for questions ABOUT religion and spirituality. Surely a valid viewpoint in that larger debate is the basic question of whether religion is simply fiction. How can you have a Q&A section about religion that forbids asking about the correctness of the very thing the forum is about?

There are many different definitions of religion, reading a dictionary won't help at all.

But if atheism is a religion then that means theism is a religion, and if theism is a religion then that means you and all other theists in the world share the same religion. But we know you have a distinct religion from others who are also theists. This implies that something more than just theism or atheism is needed in order for your belief to be considered a religion.

Spending time on a religion category does not make you religious either. (My god how dumb are you) If simply spending time on a category makes you whatever that category is about then I'm a mathematician and a biologist and a philosopher. Dumbass.

We still have opinions about religion. If people aren't cats, why do they hang around the cats category.
