I've read The Bible and those pages didn't contain much love. What I read was mostly hatred and judgment and I think any slightly sane person would pick up on that as well.
Why are their different versions of The Bible ( all worded quite differently) if there is only one truth?
The cross used back when your Jesus was around was actually an upper case "T" shape, not the lower case "t" that you commonly see on necklaces and see Jesus nailed to in the front of churches in the form of painting or statue.

i deny he ever existed for several reason, the main one is that his story matches up with at least 10 earlier messiahs from other religions (in other words he is a plagiarized character)
i do not think a fictional character can love anyone. i have no lord or savior.
in your story he never died if he "came back to life"
there is no hell so its not something i worry about.
besides if he truly loved me he would not condemn me forever for not believing he existed. that is not love.
