I got a voucher in the mail recently & called and went ahead and booked cuz it was really exciting hearing what all came with the price I'd be paying: 3 day 2 night in Ft Lauderdale meals included, 2 night cruise meal included, 3 day 2 night in orlando meals included, $100 gas reimbursement or free 7 day rental car if flying.. and if flying guest buys their ticket, mine for free.. also added in 3 day 2 night in las vegas hotel only and 4 day 3 night in la puerta mexico hotel only.. $836 for 2 people, with port charges included.. but i'd still be paying for some taxes once down there so not totally all included. Then I started thinking about it and didn't really like that price and looked it up online and a bunch of forums say this is a scam but I never really read anything where people actually went through with all of this. The boat seems pretty nice from the pictures..I've never cruised before. So I called the customer care line and told the lady I wanted to cancel and get a refund; telling her that I read this was a scam and the cruise and hotels aren't good and that since i'd still be paying for stuff down there I didn't feel it was that great of a deal. She then said that they ship 3500 every week and at least 70% of all passengers are pleased with their experience. she said that they see those reviews too and does not understand how this is a scam when they are working with many different companies. She asked if something else was holding me back and i said I'm moving this year (which I am but not to a different city) so money is an issue. She said that if them losing money keeps me as a customer then that's what they'll havta do. She ended up giving me a courtesy credit, knocking off $300 of the entire bill (now down to $536 for 2 people) and putting an extra $268 back into my account so when i do book, I'll have a balance of $268 to pay then...so $568 back in my pocket, everything still included.
