Being curvy one in fitness class..?

I joined a personal fitness class at school. I'm hoping to get in shape by the summer. My only problem is, it's kind of hard to be out of shape and a little over-weight in a class with thin/fit kids. Everyone does sports, all the girls are thin and I'm noticeably curvier..Everyone wears really tight clothes while I just try to wear a big t shirt and loose sweat pants (I even change in the bathroom rather than locker room) How do I ignore them and focus on my own fitness without comparing myself?

The class basically has all the fitness stuff at a normal gym, treadmills, bikes, weights, work out videos, etc. I have about 45 minutes in the class 5 days a week, I walk home from school and walk everywhere, about 2 miles a day on average. I'm vegetarian(vegan every other day type deal)

Will I be able to get an effective work out and see improvement by June? I'm going to try to incorporate sit-up,crunches and other work outs as much as I can at home as well..
I really want to be in this class to get in shape and feel better about myself.. I want to push myself.
