...as being falsified? What evidence would convince you that a given prophecy was false, rather than unfulfilled?
In discussions of prophecy, I often hear, "It simply hasn't come to pass YET", as a defense when the critique is raised that believers are ignoring all the misses and only focusing on the hits. If the whole idea of scriptural prophecy cannot ever be disproved, because you believe there are only fulfilled prophecies and as-yet unfulfilled prophecies, then how can prophecy be used as a tool for establishing the veracity of divine revelation? Doesn't it shift right back to a matter of faith as opposed to evidence if you can't discriminate between the false and the unfulfilled?
