Best car audio setup for hard rock/metal?

I'm heading to Best Buy in a few days to browse some different amps and subs but just as a general question, which size sub and what type of box should I use? I heard 10" sealed is the best for that type of music. As far as the amp goes, I have no idea what I need. I already have the head unit and I have a budget of around $500 including installation. Any help would be great.
 
You can get a single 10" or 12" and seal it and it'll sound decent. As far as the amp goes, you'll match the amp to the subs rms and impedance (ohm). The wattage depends on your taste. Something like 150-300wrms should work. Good luck!
