rookies in your draft? I got one http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/87206/default.aspx Look at him how could an All-Australian fall through after 90 picks. Yes I know his height, but really you would think one team would pick him up even if it was a 50+ pick, he could be the next Brent Harvey but no teams were going to take the chance... I still think he should have a great chance of getting picked up in the pre-season draft but could be left again because lack of height.

I was expecting Dylan McNeil to get drafted too, as were many around the region he comes from, I coached a side against this kid a few years ago, and he was the stand out player back then, I think he'll get picked up in the pre season draft, if he doesn't they (recruiters) have rocks in their heads.

He's an All Australian and his size is similar to a kid we took at 71, Ben Nason, he's 179cm 73kg, McNeil is a bit heavier and plays a different type of game, some one will take him.

I'm surprised Panos and Wanganeen didn't get picked up, don't know what happened there. Serhat Temel is another one, but I've heard a lot of good things and a lot of bad things so I'm not too sure.

There was also talks about Jurrah's cousin, Liam Patrick, but nobody ending up picking him up.

Also, don't Gold Coast get the first few picks in the rookie draft this year?

Matthew Panos All Australian Forward - better shot on goal than John Butcher (Port's version of Nick Gill)
Alex Carey
Derrick Wanganeen
Tom Harm
Tate Silverlock
