I say you aren't Googling hard enough, mom.

P.S. AOL provides a cool service like that and even gives her a 15 minute warning and then kicks her off of AOL perm til the next day..

I need to limit my teenager's time online to one hour a day during the week, and two hours a day during the weekends. What program do you recommend for this? Ideally, I want time online to be limited to, say, 7:30-8:30 M-F, and 1:30-3:30 Sat and Sun.

I don't need any content filtering or activity monitoring, and the computer itself should be completely accessible at all times, regardless of internet access.

Is there a program that does this? I understand NetNanny is an option, but it has a yearly fee, which is unreasonable. I want to pay once when I buy the program, and that's it.

It's a bit tough to search online for this, because the focus of articles seem to be content filtering and monitoring, and that's not what I'm interested in.

(By the way, I have Windows 2000.)

Thank you for any advice.

get vista. It comes built in with the system parental controls. Not cheap, but worth the money because unlike win2000, it is actually a moder OS
