I'm going on a weekend vacation in the morning. And I only remembered that someone would need to feed my betta fish this night. If I can't find someone to feed him I have two options.
Give him a larger portion of food just before I leave and hope he is okay when I come home 1.5 days later. (I really don't want to do this, that would be starving my fish, who ALWAYS does his "im very hungry" swim/dance when I open his lid. So cute)
Buy one of those 3 day time release feeders. The only problem there is I live in a small town. There is a pet shop, but I don't know when it opens, and I also don't know if they have time release feeders specifically for betta fish. I'm 99.5% sure that Walmart or shopko will have a time release feeder but just for freshwater fish.
I've read that betta fish are picky eaters. So should I go buy one of those regular fish time release feeders? (that dissolve in water) Will it hurt my betta fish? Will he eat it?
Well I hope my neighbor won't mind me imposing on her, but just in case, I want to be prepared for a bad scenario
