I kicked a punching bag a while back practicing and hurt my toe, this happened a long time ago(years), and my toe still hurts from it. At the time I figured it was probably fractured, I could still move it so I knew it wasn't broke, point is years later and it still hurts. I have full range of motion in it compared to my other toe but when I hit the full extension raising it I feel pain at about 3-4 on a ten scale, and when I try to lower or curl it I feel pain of about 6-7 the pain happens directly at the joint connecting it to the foot, any help would be fantastic.
PS- I know I should go see a doctor, but I would like to try to fix the problem myself without having to go see one, and there is no swelling at all or redness, no visible deformities, or anything else out of the norm, it just hurts at the joint.
