It's an ok book....generally outlining the events. I take issue with numerous details within the book that are factually incorrect.....but I have studied Lincoln for many years. As an overview, it's ok. There are better books on the subject of Lincoln. "The Day Lincoln Was Shot" and "Manhunt" are far more accurate and better reads.
What do you mean by a good read? o reilly is smart but I disagree with him on many issues but i am smart too. If you read and it then read the counter points definitely worth the read if you read it at as if the ultimate truth then I really dont care what you do

I must confess that I have not read the book. However, I have read books on this matter by actual, credentialed historians who study Lincoln and his administration for a living. As such, I'd recommend looking into their works as opposed to a buffoon such as O'Reilly.
To answer your question, I would recommend reading the more serious, mature literature on the matter if you're actually interested.
