I know tons of Catholics who are for it and use birth control themselves. Studies have indicated 75% or more of the Catholics in the U.S. and Europe do use birth control other then the rhythm method the Catholic church allows. I don't know of anyone in particular who is prominent in the actual Church organization who advocates for it. They are pretty hardline. Most of them remember are guys not in relationships.
