Bittorrent help! 10 POINTS!?

I was trying to download a file on Bittorrent when suddenly this came up at about 50%

The request could not be performed because of an i/o device error

I have torrenting for a while and this hasn't happened before!

I just encountered errors when trying to download a file from a torrent a few hours ago. I think its normal that some torrents do make errors. You can try Pausing it and Resume it again and see if it continues. Maybe you have to wait a few hours and see if it goes well after that.

If the problem persists, I suggest you try another torrent that brings you the same stuff. There are tons out there.

could be the drive the torrent is being downloaded to is full or faulty

(you can find where it is in "options - preferences - directories" in bittorrent)

check the amount of free space on the drve
