Blackberry Bold 9000 wifi problem?

so i recently updated my software to the v5.0.0.681 platform 5.2.0.64 and now my wifi wont work. my phone can detect the wifi connection but the wifi icon on the rightside of the screen is greyed out. usually it would be white to indicate that the phones wifi connection is activated. help please! i tried rebooting my phone but it still does not work
 
If you're trying to connect to home Access Point, and it have wired ports, try unplugging all LAN Ports (keep only WAN Port connected), some routers have this issues
