blackberry help. ringtones. computer to phone file sharing. plz help!?

Ok I am a first time blackberry user and I am trying to get ringtones from my computer to my phone. I used to have a razr and I would bluetooth the ringtones to my cell. For some reason i cant bluetooth anything to my blackberry. I downloaded the software and tried to put them on the phone throught the usb cable but it wont allow me to do that either. I was thinking i needed a media card to do it but some of my friends who have blackberrys dont have media cards and they can get things on their phones from their computers. Any ideas? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!
 
What software did u download?if it was desktop manger with the media manager you should be able to move those files over that way. That's the way I always have. You have to use the blackberry software period.
Next,blackberry is very much a pain for Bluetooth being so security conscience and you'll only be able to Bluetooth another berry for file transfers that way an then it's still an act of congress. Make sure ur viable or discoverable and you have to allow each transfer to ur phone. A real Bluetooth nightmare.
A media card is a good idea so u don't use up phone memory and slow that berry down with extra stuff on the phone and not the media card. It's in ur best interest this way. Once u get the hang of it,it'll make sense. Let me know if I can help.
