After frequently getting the app error 523 message, I did a Google search on the error and learned it basically meant my operating system was corrupted. The IT people at Verizon wiped my phone and re-loaded the software. My question: What kind of lifespan can I expect from my phone now?
Of note, I'm not receiving all my calls and the few apps I have (non-third party ones) are not functioning properly. I also can't reply to emails with consistency - sometimes I can, sometimes I can't. I'm eligible for an upgrade, but trying to hold off until around Black Friday since I'm planning to upgrade to the Droid X and know there's at least a decent chance that they'll run it on sale then (and it's currently out of stock...)
Thanks for any help you can offer!
