blocking torrents in a private network?

i have a private network with 10 mbps plan with belkin router wirless networking,
can anyone please guide me to block the torrents (downloading through torrents),
using firewall techinque or some thing else ,

or if any other plan for blocking the downloading through torrents,,please let me know ,
