Blue screen of doom :(?

My vista computer comes up with a blue screen virtually every day. I can't think of anything I do that triggers it; it seems random. On a bad day, it will appear up to 5 or 6 times, and in the 7 months I have had my computer, I haven't had 3 days where it hasn't appeared (obviously excluding when I haven't turned it on :P). It's getting rather annoying - any suggestions?
 
The 'blue screen' can be caused by a number of things.

If this happens when you're playing 3D games or things like that, then there's probably something wrong with your 3D graphics in which case you should do all of the latest driver updates for your PC.

You should try installing the latest drivers and software for everything.
You should also try a anti-virus scan if you haven't already done so (just in case).

If this keeps happening, you should email the appropriate customer support. HP is good in this way. You need to give more information in able to work out what is actually causing this.
