Bluetooth for droid 2, paired but not connected?

I want to send multiple pictures to another phone, my friend and I both have verizon. so I connected to his and he's connected to mine but it says 'not connected'. uhm any suggestions? and when I press and hold on his bluetooth name it just sugests unpair. thank you for the help if given.
 
The Droid 2 is wanting permission to connect and download the file. Slide the status bar down, there you will find a place to give permission to download the file.:itching:
