Bluetooth Wireless Mouse and Keyboard sometimes not responsive?

After like using the Bluetooth items for a certain amount of time they become none responisve. To fix it I have to unplug the USB thing and plug it back in. I know their batteries aren't low. They never did this before the computer stopped working, because of a memory failure. After I got the Computer fixed with a new OS (Windows Vista Ultimate), they sort of started doing that.
 
update the bluetooth driver or the driver for the wirless devices on vista they could like bug out if you have a wireless phone, network, or mobile around the area of the bluetooth signal if you dont have any other wireless devices just update.
