The Traction control light is on and ABS light is on. Took it to BMW today and they scanned it and it said that the front right speed sensor is at fault. The repair for that is $371.00 and that does not guarantee that the problem will be solved, if lights don't go off they say its the ABS control module ( which i know is very expensive). They said the chances are about 60% it will go away and 40% will lead to another repair ( ABS module). So i am taking a 400.00 Gamble and it might not be fixed?
Any body have any similar issues. I live in Minnesota so the winter here is brutal. and the Traction control really does help.
Should i do it or take it to an independent contractor.
