BMW E46 coupe LED aftermarket HELP PLEASE!?

hi all,
I have just attempted to fit my eagle eye rear led lights to my e46 coupe but the led's do not work on braking or on On. The interior bulb which is attached to the rear cluster works when the brake is pressed. can you help me please i cant find any information anywhere on the internet. Also does anyone know the difference between the year 2000 coupe and the year 2003 rear lights? PLEASE HELP A FELLOW OUT THANK YOU!!!
 
2000 and '03 lights should be the same. It's in 2004 when they changed to OEM LED tails. I actually haven't heard of any problems with EE tail light installations, I wish I could be of more help. Maybe this might help? http://www.bimmian.com/elements/page.htm/instructions.ht/LRL/LRL.pdf
