Bought a car and now everything has gone wrong?

So I bought a car a year ago from a small used car dealership and then they closed and I had no way of getting a hold of them to make payments or figure out where the payments should be made to so I stopped sending in the payments. Now a whole year has passed and they now are wanting to take the vehicle back. What should I do?

Hide the vehicle up the street or something so the repo men don't take it in the middle of the night. Then, just pay whatever collections agency is asking for the money. Yeah it would have been nice to have them forget about your payments, but it didn't turn out that way so just give them the rest of the money and be done with it.
