Hopefully someone can help.
I recently got my brakes and rotors done at Merlin 200,000 mile shops in Joliet, IL. I've been told that I got screwed big time with the amount of money I paid. I got the front brakes and rotors replaced on my 2002 Nissan Xterra V6 SC. I've noticed on a website that a set of brake pads (Bendix model# MKD830) costs $40.00. I was charged $149.95.
Also, it shows that the rotors cost $83.83 (not sure if its for 2) model# 145112. I was charged $149.10.
My total when I left was $408.67 including labor and taxes ($84.95 for labor and $24.67 for taxes).
My question is.. would I be able dispute the charges and get a partial refund?
