Brand New Motorola Android no sound? Please Help!?

Hello. I just bought a motorola Android today. When calls come in there is no sound for a ringtone. When I want to click a ringtone (it normally lets you preview the sound) there is no sound. My phone is not on silent. When I have incoming messages/texts there is also no sound. How do I fix this problem? How do I get sound on my phone?!?! Please somebody help! Thanks!
