Building endurance in mma?

I train mma and I go about 3 or 4 days a week. Its a great workout and it pushes me. The one thing I seem to be lacking in seems to be my cardio. I got a regular gym membership just recently and I was gonna work on doing more cardio. I was thinking about just doing treadmill at medium speeds and just work on keeping my heart rate up and just doing a lot of jump roping. Any other kind of endurance training u can do at a regular gym that would seem suited for mma?
