Built-in wireless internet?

Someone told me that my PC might already have a built-in wireless network, but I can't find out how to use it. I am currently running a cable direct from my PC to the modem in my other room. I have been into device manager and clicked the Network Adapters' arrow and underneath it it reads 'Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection'.
Does that mean I do have built-in wireless?
My PC is a HP Pavillion a6220 and I'm running windows Vista.

If anyone can help me out that would be great. Thanks.
 
usually only laptops have wireless as standard,you probably need to buy a usb wireless adapter
 
disconnect your internet wire then click start , connect to , it may come up with "turn wireless on" click it and windows will turn it on for you . Then you just have to search for wireless networks .

Is your router wireless though ?

if it is a desktop computer you would see an antenna coming out of the computer.. In a laptop it all depends
