Buy 1 get 1 free smartphone Verizon qeustion PLEASE ANSERRRR!!?

If my dad gets a motorola droid and i get the htc droid incredible... Would that cant as buy1 get 1 free???? 2nd question--- how much is the cost for the 2nd phone if its buy 1 get 1 free>???

First of all.. don't use all caps. Very annoying.
With verizon, to get a free phone after you bought one, you would have to open a NEW or UPGRADABLE line. What that means is that - lets say you don't have a line yet. Your dad upgrades to the droid. he then will have the choice to OPEN a NEW line - and get the incredible. It wouldn't cost anything for the free one, except the line your opening up. I am 98 percent sure that you can get the free one with an UPGRADABLE line. if your 2/1 year wait is up, then you will be able to get the phone.
You would notice on their commercials they have written in tiny, light gray letters - "requires a new 2 year plan for activation.".

You both need to be eligible to upgrade, or if you don't have a Verizon phone yet, your dad would need to add a new line for you to be able to get it free. You would need to pay $100 for the free phone in store, and then you get it back as a rebate

I just did this yesterday. The deal was this:
Buy the regular Droid for $99 (get the $99 back after rebate)
Buy the Droid Incredible for $199 (get $100 back after rebate)

Total for both phones = around $100.

Plus taxes of course. And of course you must be eligible for the upgrade on your phones.
