My car was hit from the rear a while ago, i've claimed through winn's solicitors (great service btw) and they have confirmed that the car is a class c write off, it's perfectly roadworthy, it's just that the ding in the back would cost more to replace than the car's worth. I've bought the salvage back, so the car's still mine, and the money will pay off my car finance, which is super, but my question is this, when I get the engineers report, i'll have to tell my insurance company what's happened, and they'll probably tell me to go to hell, as in they're not insuring the car any more. does anyone know of any insurers that will insure a wrote off car? i'm not fussed about fully comp, 3rd party, or 3rd fire and theft would do.
