After changing a battery in this vehicle, certain electrical components stopped working. I have read how to reset some of them, but the problems i'm having are not in the manual....
rear sunscreen failure
turn signals not working
Please help, is there a reset method, or has the SAM been blown?
 
spin the fuses (all of them) to be sure they are contacting at each end.these era MB are known to have bad coating over the wires on the electrical harness front to back due to recycled plastic used to coat them.if you barely touch a section the insulation over each wire turns to dust and then things happen everywhere at random like you described plus more,(sorry) look up recalls for your MB online at www.auto zone repair info.com , put year make model etc and in choies that pop up CHOOSE recalls or TSB (technical service bullitins) try not to puke!
