Okay, biggest question I need a answer to.
Is it possible for a girl to be under fifteen to write and publish a book? Because I have a theory, well, an idea. If you were to write, aren't your characters based on real life people? If your main character would be based on you, would you find the most embarrassing moments and give them to your character, giving her the idea and feelings of what you would feel in those situations, and this would be that characters history?
If you make your book and characters real, don't you make the feelings real? The situations they have been in, real..? I believe that is how you write, and I want to write a book and let everyone know what goes on in my mind, let everyone see my point of view on the world and my imagination. I just want to walk into a shop and see my book on the shelf and find people reading it and liking the way I think, liking the way I write and how I had made these characters feel and live.
Is this how a writer is meant to think? I am quite experienced sometimes, and I believe if you were to be a potential writer, you would need to be the character, put some of yourself into him/her, make her feel what you would. I only want people to read and understand how I think of the world, and I want your opinion on what this means.
Could I be an author one day? I get told by people they hate how I write and that I need more experience, but I'm young and still learning, I need the bad criticism to know what it's like out there.
So, in you're opinion. Is this the way a potential author is meant to think? Is this the way published authors think?
Can a girl under fifteen years of age become an author?
