I bought my car brand new in 2005 and it has since been in quite a few accidents...
At some point (I don't really remember when) it started shaking (at all times) whether moving or not. Anyway, it finally got too annoying for me, so I took it in to get looked at and the mechanic said that he thought it could possibly be a "misfiring issue". I asked him how much this would cost to fix and he said it could be caused by anything and he couldn't really quote me unless I paid him to check it out.
I decided not to [he was kinda rude], and instead took it down the street to see if it would pass inspection. It did.
Specifically spelled out on the little diagnostics sheet it said "Misfiring: Yes" (as in, it passed or.. it's fine)
So I'm curious... could this still possibly be a "misfiring problem"? And if so, does anyone have any idea how much this could cost to get fixed?
