T tonalc2 Member Sep 23, 2010 #4 It's not legal in any state. U-Haul has rules that specifically state that no passengers be permitted to ride in the back of a moving van or trailer towable. Why not rent one of their 8-passenger vans and have a few lap sitters instead?
