...exactly like the one for the gamecube? i need to find a contoller for my ps2 that has the same looks as the gamecube contoller. it has to have the same button layout, but must work on the ps2. really i just want to be able to use my GC controller on my ps2. please tell me where to find that remote or an adapter that will let me use my GC remote on my ps2.
 
Won't work, sorry. The PS2 controller has more buttons. Not to mention various other factors. You may be able to find someone who can hollow out a gamecube controller and stick in the ps2 buttons. Good luck with that.
 
Gamecube controller is gay. You might be able to find an off-brand ps2 controller that looks like a Gamecube controller at a resale shop. I think off brand company's made similiar models to what you are looking for. The XboX controllers are more like the Gamecube controllers. So mabye you should buy an original XboX. lol. Good luck. ======= Just did some quick research, Everybody else says Gamecube controller is gay and outdated technology. Nintendo technology has always been a full decade behind Sony and Microsoft. They do however have loads and LOADS of Gamecube system to Ps2 Dualshock controller adapters. Sorry.
