I have been dealing with bad flea attacks spaced 3months apart. Ive curbed them by ripping up the carpet bombing like crazy and vacuuming like crazy. [it was originally horrible my landlord locked 8 cats in a room near mine...they got fleas I'm talking it used to be u walked through the room and you were fully covered in fleas. Now they're little ninja fleas they strike only when i'm sleeping and I can not find them but I've caught one or two and the bites are indicating their numbers are growing.

Its only in one room in the basement (my bedroom)

If i leave the window open how long would my room have to be 40degrees or colder to kill off the adult fleas?????

I understand the eggs and cocooned fuckers are immune to cold but I need to stop the adult fleas from living long enough to lay eggs and also from pooping out my blood so the hatch-lings will no have a food source as they cant bite until they've eaten bloodpoop [so they can then cocoon and pop out as little blood suckers.]

(i am now the only food source for these fleas if this helps...seriously i wish i could front-line myself)
