no and yes. Two problems here. First its the regional code. Most dvd players can only play one code and some you can play a code but you can only change it once. You cant change the code more than once because of copyright proctection laws and things. So once you have that regioncode or not you are stuck. I had an rca dvd portable that played every code and everything.
second problem is you plug in. the us i believe is 60 herts and i think the european is like 70 something or something like that. But this is an easy fix. If you are doing that kind of traveling you better get you a converter adapter, that takes on plug and make it into another. i had some when i was in the navy (for obvious reasons).
no heres another thing to worry about. The code of dvd you pick up. Thialand has some cheap ass dvds. like 1 dollar or two. ive been there 3 times myself. So ask them to see it play on there dvd player then go from there. just buy one or two and take it back to your dvd player and see if it works. if it does, pass the word to your friends, help the guy get some business. lol before i invite my friends i would buy all the ones i like.
