can i burn 5 gb .avi files in a DVD suing nero 9?

i have 7 files of .avi, total 5GB in my hard disk. now i need to to burn in a DVD using nero 9. in my laptop windows 7 and 64 bit processor i3, is using. please help me to burn the .avi files in a single DVD using nero. welcomes valuable answers.

you need a DL DVD which is 8.5GB, and a DL DVD burner.

you might consider going blu-ray if you are going to be burning AVI files.

why don't you convert it to xvid? it would make it much smaller.

another option is using 7-zip to split the files into DVD-size compressed file chunks, and then burning those. http://7-zip.org (use the beta version for now)
